AARP Smart Driver Course

The nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course

Please register directly with AARP through the online portal: www.aarp.org/findacourse (search for Voorheesville) or call the registration phone number (518-412-2059). Payment can be made online by credit card or by check on the day of the course.  Course fee is $25 AARP member / $30 non-AARP member. 

Bring to the course:

  • NYS driver license
  • AARP membership card if you are a member (required for discount fee)
  • Bag lunch
  • Check for course fee if not paying online

The course is composed of four 90 minute sessions. There is a 30 minute lunch break, we recommend bringing your lunch to eat in the classroom. Bring “layers” in case the room is too cool or warm as it’s difficult to have room perfect for a large group. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
