Read & Create - Time to Make Art

Awed by the endless possibilities, a young girl begins asking meaningful questions about creating art. Her questions are answered by a diverse group of artists throughout time and history: from the earliest cave painters to the most recent digital illustrators. Join us for a morning of learning and creativity as we read and discuss Jeff Mack's Time to Make Art and create art inspired by the book. For grades K-2. Some caregivers may participate and others can sit in the adjoining room in the art studio. Through the generosity of the Friends of the Library, each child will bring home an art project and a hardcover copy of the picture book. Please register. We will meet at Art Stars!
