Winter Seed Sowing Workshop

Learn about winter sowing, a process of starting seeds outdoors in containers during the winter months.

We will be planting native plant seeds (long germination) and annual leafy greens seeds (short germination).  Each participant will choose what they would like to grow and plant 2 containers to take home along with additional seeds that they can plant at home. 

Join Albany County Master Gardeners and explore this method of seed starting that does not require any special lighting or equipment.  All materials will be provided for this class. Adults, please register.
