Nimblefingers

Join us to share conversation and company while you work on your sewing, knitting or other handcraft projects. 

This month, we’ll be carving soft Lino print blocks. By carving soft rubber blocks, inking the raised areas, and pressing the image onto a surface you will create bold, graphic artworks.

Babies, 0-24 months, with a caregiver, are invited to join us as we get together for a fun program featuring songs, fingerplays, body movement, felt board stories, books, and toys! No registration needed.

Pick up a kit at the information desk and enjoy some creative time! The kit can be picked up during the library’s open hours, then take it home to complete an easy project. Please register. Supplies are limited.

Try an easy project to learn beading techniques needing only a few basic tools. The hardest part will be selecting your beads from our large supply! Teens in grades 9-12 and adults, please register.

Crochet 101 with Kaila Kurz is a beginner class for anyone who would like to learn the foundations of crochet! In this class, you will learn how to choose yarn, hooks, and notions for any project.

Learn to machine-sew fleece hats for our teen Great Give Back project.  The hats will go to Hatsgiving, a teen-created organization that collects hats to warm young cancer patients. All supplies and snacks provided.
