Try an easy project to learn beading techniques needing only a few basic tools. The hardest part will be selecting your beads from our large supply! Teens in grades 9-12 and adults, please register.

The Voorheesville Library trustees will be discussing changes to their bylaws to be voted on during a regular board meeting.

The monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held in the Library.

Join us as we explore various art media. Regardless of experience or perceived creative ability; artists and novices alike will enjoy these creative projects and some friendly conversation. This month, we’ll be creating mosaic tile designs.

Learn about 3D printing from IT consultant John Love. Where can a beginner design objects? What are some sources for free printable designs? How do you prepare an object file to print on the library's new Sketch Sprint 3D printer?

Creativity Lab: Candles

Join us for a sensory-friendly storytime with interactive stories, songs, crafts and unstructured play! Lights will be dimmed and fidgets will be provided for anyone who may need one during the sensory storytime. Children ages 3+ with caregivers.

Pick up a kit at the information desk by December 21 and enjoy some creative time! The kit can be picked up during the library’s open hours, then take it home to complete an easy project. Please register. Supplies are limited.

Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome to try our game program. We'll be playing games that promote inclusion so our community can connect, build friendships and have fun together. Please register. 

Come to the library after school to make something with our STEAM supplies. From robotics to paper circuits, we'll try many different projects through the year ahead. Celebrate Hour of Code by programming Ozobots! Snacks will be available.

The holidays are a time to celebrate, to enjoy time with family and friends, and to build memories based on our own traditions. We will share books about the joy of the holiday season.
